This Saturday, we went to Lucille's to celebrate Edgar and my daughter Evelyn Chihuahua Chang's B-day! It was so much fun hanging out with everyone! It really had the "Backyard BBQ" feeling and we were like a big family! I love it!

Disneyland in Rain....

If you haven't done so, you should try it out if you get a chance! We went to Disneyland yesterday in the middle of a rain storm! Let me tell you.....it was FUN!!!!! Although none of use brought any rain gear with us, it sure didn't stop us from going on rides!

Here are some highlights of our night!

Jerkman working the tight leather...

Jess and Jan on santa's sleigh....

The all time famous noes scratch.....

The wetness after jumping in puddles.....

Cold, wet, tired, and dying....but it was well worth it...

I love the rain! You can never have too much fun in them!

Beautiful day...

Today is such a beautiful day! I saw this wonderful sight on my way to work today and it really made my day. It's soooooo beautiful!! The entire mountain is covered in snow! I really want to visit the snow at least once before they all melt away!!!

New Year's Resolution...

Yesterday, I asked my baby Val what her new year's resolutions were and she had no idea what that means..... I was totally shocked....kids now days don't even have goals for themselves anymore??? However, I can understand why it's less and less common for people to have new year's resolutions anymore. Take me as an example, I almost never accomplish my goals that I set at the beginning of the year. The first month or so I'm usually on track, but as time goes...it just kind of falls apart. No wonder some people don't even make an effort to have new year's resolutions anymore....

Never the less....I would still like to have a list of my new year's resolutions just so at least I have a goal that I'm heading towards. So here's some off of my list for now....if I think of some more, I'll post about it later.....

1. Be closer to God than I ever was.

2. Loose mad weight.

3. Balance time between family, church, and work.

4. Save enough money to buy my old town house so I can live closer to church.

5. Be involve in the College ministry! (I'm so excited!)

6. Work out everyday, if not...at least every other day.

7. Eat right and get at least 8 hours of sleep everyday.

8. Watch USC win National Championship!

9. Have lunch with my parents once a week.

10. Be a better father....

Platonic Friendship....

Today, my friend Aaron and I got into a interesting topic on "Platonic Friendship". I believe that it exists and is possible between friends but Aaron thinks otherwise. So here's a poll to see how many of you out there believe in "Platonic Friendship". Why or Why not? I want to hear your feedback!

Skid Row....

Last week, we went on a very interesting mission to pass out peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to our "friends" in downtown LA. (We decided not to use words such as homeless, poor, and etc. so we call them "friend")

The preparation....

The Gals...

The Dudes....

First we took a short walk to the bus stop.....

Then we took the bus to the MetroRail Station....

At the MetroRail Station, we took the Blue Line all the way to downtown LA...

We arrived to a underground MetroRail station in downtown LA...

Once we walked out, it was another world out there....

We took a short walk to our destination, Skid Row....

There, we spited up into groups of 5 or 6 people and head off to our advanture....

Our group came across a friend from India. He claims that he's a med student and just recently moved out here to LA to try to start a new life....we will be praying for him....

During our advanture, we kept running into other teams which were doing a fantastic job but we were kind hoping they weren't in our way....j/k....

During the trip....most of us had to use the restroom pretty bad....and we finally found a public restroom....it was out of order....

After we were done giving out our goodies, it was time to head back home....

I was very proud of everyone of our youth and leaders that was there....they've brighten so many friend's day that day! May God remember your hard work and reward you through his blessings!
